We Are Herts & Essex Badminton Club
Welcome to Herts & Essex Badminton Club, a friendly, competitive badminton club playing doubles and based in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
We are Badminton England affiliated and participate in local leagues, currently competing in the Men's, Women’s doubles and Medley/Mixed divisions of the Hertford Area Badminton League, Braintree and Chelmsford District Badminton league.
As long as you have played badminton before, we have a session that caters for you, ranging from beginner + all the way up to local league standard play (see club night information for further details).

Our Club Nights
The Sunday Smashers
Two Sunday sessions, 4-6pm (Beginner+ and Advanced Beginner+) or 6-8pm (Intermediate+), doubles, using plastics
The Wednesday Shuttles
Playing Wednesday 8-10pm, doubles, local league standard play using feathers.
Other Sessions
We also have additional sessions on Tuesdays, 6-8pm (Advanced Beginner+) and two on Fridays 8-10pm (Advanced Beginner+ with plastics or League Level with feathers).
